Vera has a keen interest in anything that floats above her. My guess is she sees angels smiling at her and she loves it...

The Pinkish, Purpleish, Bluish Egg is an example of the creativity that is so lacking in much of our low-reaching children's lit. Also read a lot of fairy tales, Bullfinch's Mythology, and Shel Silverstein who showed all his little readers that a line drawing is more mesmerizing than CGI, any day (times 1,000,000).
